Terrance Norris
Terrence Norris is a seasoned expert in audit, investigation and management consultancy services to the public and private sectors, and to international organisations, with over 35 years of experience. Born in Canada and now permanently residing in Malta as an official citizen, Terrence is a Chartered Management Accountant (Canada) and holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree in Accounting and Economics. He received extensive training from International Organisations in risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies, fraud detection and prevention, and from the Inspector General Criminal Investigator Academy (USA) on Investigations and case management.
Terrence has held oversight, management advisor and diplomatic positions in the Governments of Malta and Canada, the United Nations and its associated Agencies. He has held Diplomatic positions in Mexico and China, and UN residency assignments in Eritrea, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ivory Coast, Haiti, Kenya, Somalia, Gaza and Israel. Recently, he has provided consulting service to the EU on its research Grant programmes and Member States Financial Reports. Local consulting assignments in the banking, telecommunications and insurance business sectors have given him a good appreciation of the challenges that businesses encounter, including compliance, with a myriad of local and international regulations and standards.
