The course provides a detailed overview of the main changes introduced in the revised edition of ISO 9001, more than a decade after ISO 9001:2015. The revision reflects developments in the business environment, including changing customer expectations, technological advances, global risks, sustainability considerations, and evolving organisational needs. While the standard retains its established process approach and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) framework, several requirements have been clarified, reorganised, or expanded.
The course covers key changes, including a stronger focus on quality culture and ethical behavior, a clearer distinction between risks and opportunities, and expanded requirements for planning changes to the QMS. It also addresses updates related to organisational context, interested parties, organisational knowledge, customer communication, design and development, performance evaluation, management review, and continual improvement.
