CORPORATE LAWYER ASSOCIATE
This is a role for ambitious professionals with at least 1-2 years proven experience in a similar position. Ideally candidates shall be in possession of a professional qualification. The following are the responsibilities and duties for this role and also the required skills set.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Good understanding of a company as a legal entity, the Companies Act and it’s requirements
- Take a lead role in dealing with clients, authorities and Malta Business Registry;
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with client personnel and meet client and firm deadlines;
- Understanding of the director and company secretary duties and how should NOUV as a CSP (Corporate Service Provider) act and assist the client towards good corporate governance
- Understand KYC & Compliance requirements;
- Assisting clients with other corporate-related matters, such as share transfers, bank account applications, submission of necessary documentation to the MBR or other authorities
- Other assurance and audit commitments can be passed to your responsibility.
Requirements
- Preferably in possession of a professional qualification;
- Candidates must also have a strong command of the English language and effective communication skills;
- Experience will be considered as a must;
- Self-motivated and willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment;
- Goal-oriented and team player.

- Maintain organised planning of work and make sure that the portfolio of client entities is in good standing and maintained in good order with all relevant authorities;
- Ability to identify, report and handle sensitive issues;
- Capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines;
- Smart, highly motivated, well-presented individual with an eye for details;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multitask;
- Fluency in the English language (both written and spoken);
- Ability to work and perform under pressure.
