ASSOCIATE ADVISOR – RISK, COMPLIANCE & INTERNAL AUDIT
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Associate Advisor to join our growing Risk and Compliance team within our Advisory Pillar. This role is ideal for a professional looking for long-term career growth and exposure to a dynamic, evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar position.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with the Director on Risk and Compliance to support the execution of internal audit, risk, and compliance engagements
- Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of internal audit assignments, including risk assessments, process walkthroughs, and control testing.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of client risk management frameworks.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assist in assessing the impact of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Perform compliance reviews and help ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate Board reports relating to audit, risk, and compliance matters, including key findings and recommended actions.
- Contribute towards ideas and growth initiatives within the team.
- Engage directly with clients in the delivery of risk, audit, and compliance services, ensuring a high standard of professional communication and service.
- Take on other responsibilities and tasks as may arise from time to time in line with the role.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Management, Business or a related field is required.
- Proficient in both Maltese and English languages.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification will be considered an advantage.
