Day 2: Principles, preparation and launching of an assessment
- Assessment concepts and principles.
- Assessment approach based on evidence and risk.
- Initiating the assessment.
- Stage 1 assessment.
- Preparing the stage 2 assessment (on-site assessment).
Day 3: On-site assessment activities
- Stage 2 assessment.
- Communication during the assessment.
- Assessment procedures.
- Creating test plans.
- Drafting assessment findings and nonconformity reports.
Day 4: Closing the assessment
- Assessment documentation and quality assurance.
- Closing the assessment.
- Evaluation of action plans by the assessor.
- Following the initial assessment.
- Managing an internal audit programme.
- Competence and evaluation of assessors.
- Closing the training.
Day 5: Certification Exam (3-hours)
The exam complies with the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements. The exam covers the following competency domains:
Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of a Laboratory Management System (LMS).Domain 2: Laboratory Management System (LMS).
Domain 3: Fundamental concepts and principles of assessment.
Domain 4: Preparation of an ISO/IEC 17025 assessment.
Domain 5: Conducting an ISO/IEC 17025 assessment.

Domain 7: Managing an ISO/IEC 17025 internal audit program.

- Training material containing over 450 pages of information and practical examples will be distributed.
- A participation certificate of 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued.
- In case of exam failure, you can retake the exam within 12 months for free.
