COURSE OUTLINES
This training session covers substances hazardous to health as defined by the COSHH Regulations, which include (but are not limited to):
- Substances classified as very toxic, toxic, harmful, corrosive or irritant under the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 (CHIP 96).
- Substances allocated a WEL (Workplace Exposure Limit).
- Biological agents which are hazardous to health.
- Substantial concentrations of dust (e.g., silica).
- Any other substance with similar potential to cause occupational ill‑health.

- Upon request. Minimum 8 and maximum 10 participants required to run the course.
