WHO SHOULD ATTEND
For: Individuals who require a basic understanding of the ITIL4 framework and how it may be used to enhance the quality of IT service management within an organisation.
Also: IT professionals that are working within an organisation that uses ITIL4 who need to be informed about and contribute to an ongoing service improvement programme. This may include but is not limited to, IT and non-IT professionals, business managers and business process owners.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The ITIL®4 Foundation Course covers the whole of the syllabus of ITIL Foundation Level and prepares participants for the ITIL Foundation examination.
The course will equip participants with:
- Knowledge of the ITIL terminology, structure and basic concepts
- Knowledge of the core principles of ITIL practices for Service Management.
- Note that the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is not intended to enable the holders of the certificate to apply the ITIL practices for Service Management without further guidance.
COURSE OUTLINE
At Blooms Taxonomy level 1 and 2, the following subjects will be covered during the course:
- Key concepts and terminology
- Guiding Principles
- The Four Dimensions of Service Management
- The Service Value System and Service Value Chain
- Continual Improvement
- The ITIL Practices
PREREQUISITES
None. Some pre-reading material is provided prior to the event in order to familiarize with some concepts beforehand.
THE EXAMINATION
The ITIL®4 Foundation examination is a 40 multiple-choice question set to be completed in one hour and 15 minutes (or 1 hour for native English speakers). An exam voucher is included in the course fee which may be used independently within a period of one year.
CERTIFICATES
The course is accredited through PEOPLECERT. On completion of the training, you will receive a NOUV Academy Certificate of Attendance. The ITIL4 Foundation PeopleCert certificate is issued on passing exam.
